So, long story short...

While alunevans was washing my car

alunevans made the mistake of

using Dawn for soap

My Advice to You is

dont use dawn unless you are going to clay

Here's the whole story

so i was a wee little boy and i was washing my parents car, and eventually my own when i was old enough...i soon realized that your traditional dish soap is used to strip the wax off of cars and not to give them a nice bright coat. oops dont use dish soap unless you want to strip the wax off your car...use a high quality car soap im done.

the poor Z3.. i can't imagine what the paint felt like on that car.

I used to do it to completely strip the wax off after a year or so. Its nice when you do the whole 3 step process on the paint. But yea, no good for use in general.
