Edgar Vergara’s Story

So, long story short...
Edgar Vergara made the mistake of
not packing any clothes in my carry on
My Advice to You is
if you are going to be 4,000 miles away from home, be prepared in case the airline loses your luggage
Here's the whole story
So there I was, packing for my first real vacation ever and for my first time on a plane. I ask my girlfriend, “Should we pack some clothes in our carry on in case the airline loses our luggage?”
“Nah” she replies. “They won’t lose it.”
So off we went 4,000 mile across America and the Pacific Ocean from Orlando, Florida to Hilo, Hawaii. After 10 hours of travel, there I stood waiting with my girlfriend in the airport at a now empty luggage pickup belt. In accordance with Murphy’s Law I hear my girlfriend say, “Man, we should’ve packed some clothes in our carry on.”
So the end result to all this is that we ended up spending two nights out of our six night vacation without our luggage. Not to mention the time wasted having to go to a Wal-Mart to pick up necessities and all the time on the phone with the airline trying to locate our luggage. The reconciliation for all our troubles, two $100 gift certificates for future flights with the airline. Ummm…Yeah, I’m stoked about flying with them again.

Especially if you fly Air India. They're notorious for losing stuff.
