So, long story short...

While Edgar Vergara was playing blackjack

Edgar Vergara made the mistake of

doubling down on a "hard" 12

My Advice to You is

learn how to play properly

Here's the whole story

Just recently I took my first trip to Vegas and gambled on card games for the first time. I know the rules of Blackjack, but am still kind of learning the "proper" way to play. By proper, I mean the way that everyone systematically plays in order to receive the best odds possible. Apparently Blackjack isn't like poker where sometimes you take chances because you just feel lucky. I ended doubling down on a hard 12 only to bust and lose twice as much money. I am still being made fun of to this day.

Gambling wise, I came out up $150. Not bad compared to some people we know...

At some of the higher stakes tables if you take a hit when sitting in a certain position, you could get an earful and cause a lot of people to lose money!

Yeah, I ended up playing at the end of the table to avoid pissing anyone off.
