So, long story short...

While jason sadler was working out to become big and strong

jason sadler made the mistake of

thinking I could bench press more weight than I actually could and getting pinned by the weight

My Advice to You is

either bring a friend along to spot you or just use less weight

Here's the whole story

If you've ever started doing bench press then you have been there before. You think you can do that extra 25lbs on each side, but when multiplied together that 25lbs becomes 50lbs very quickly. It is right about the time you start to lower the weight to your chest that you come to a stunning realization:

Holy shit, I am going to be crushed to death and die...

Luckily about 8-12 people are intently watching you so one or two them will scurry over to help lift the bone crushing weight off your chest. Inevitably some asshole chimes in with a "you should probably do less weight next time." Thanks, thanks for that tidbit of a gem, jerkface. Somehow the rest of your workout just doesn't seem the same.
