So, long story short...

While jason sadler was buying a new car

jason sadler made the mistake of

not exhausting my connections/friends

My Advice to You is

use the connections you have made, it can only help

Here's the whole story

I bought a new car this weekend, because I have no attention span for anything, and of course hindsight is 20/20.

I happened to have lunch with a friend who is very connected to a ton of local dealerships. When I told him about my new car he immediately said that he just talked to a dealer who had a 2007 that was a demo they were dying to get rid of. It didn't even dawn on me to call and ask, when it would have only taken a second and saved me a couple thousand.

From now on, even if I feel like I am pestering someone, I will at least call and ask. It's all about who you know!
