not confirming the bed situation for the hotel room
My Advice to You is
double check with the hotel that you get two twin beds instead of one double
Here's the whole story
So lets do some quick math.
4 Dudes + 1 Double Bed = Pissed at Hotels.com
Our initial room when we got to London was probably half the size of your normal child's room with one double bed. I specifically booked a room with two twins so that we could alternate sleeping on the floor and bed. So I was really surprised to hear the girl at the counter saying that we might have to sleep in that initial room because hotels.com doesn't actually book a certain type. its just best available.
So if you're trying to plan a trip with friends and are going the budget route (aka startup budget). Double check the fine print.
