So, long story short...

While Dennis Eusebio was leaving my civic outside for months

Dennis Eusebio made the mistake of

not insuring my car when I stopped driving it

My Advice to You is

even if you don't drive your beater, drive it occasionally and move it around

Here's the whole story

Thieves love Honda's. Thieves love Honda Civic's more. Thieves love Honda Civic's with LS Turbo setups even more.

So I get my new S2000 and I find that I don't drive my civic anymore because well, if you've ever owned a boosted car, its hard to use it daily. So I cancelled my insurance on it for the mean time and let it sit in front of our driveway for a month or two without me moving it. I was going to sell it anyways so it didn't seem like such a bad idea.

Fast forward a months, and I wake up to my roomate knocking on my door yelling that my car is gone. Now mind you, the car did not start, it had an alarm, and did I mention it didn't run at all? So they towed it off and stripped it completely.

Now, this would be alright if I was "insured". Buuut I wasn't, so in one morning I lost over 8k worth of stuff. So remember kids, insure your car. Especially if you own a Honda.

Actually when they found out it was merely an LS turbo the thieves were probably pissed.
