So, long story short...

While Dennis Eusebio was In a long-term relationship

Dennis Eusebio made the mistake of

Choosing my career over my relationship

My Advice to You is

No amount of success and financial gain is worth more than the one you're with

Here's the whole story

I was in a 3-year relationship back when i was at the tail-end of college and all in all things were going great. But then the dreaded 'who moves to where' question came up, and I just messed things up horribly from that point on. I chose to break everything off because I didn't think I could make something of myself where she was going to go to Med School. It seemed like a right answer at the time. But looking back, no matter how successful Thought & Theory becomes, it won't ever match the best moments of that relationship. It probably won't even come close.

So when i'm grinding away at 3am in the morning wondering what my life would be like if i didn't choose this, I let it all go and then just have to think about what i'm going to do next time it happens.

you can't live in the past my friend.. always focus on the now and what's going to happen next.

I think it's a good reminder. Specially for those of us (like me) who are destined to burn out sooner then later. Like watching a train wreck in slow motion without being able to prevent it.

I concur with Jason. I don't believe in things happening for a reason, but I believe that things happen to you that can make positive changes in your life. I think that you'll never know how happy you'll be in that situation, but you've started on another path that can lead to other kinds of happiness.
