So, long story short...
While michelle delprete was looking for a full-time job in Chicago
michelle delprete made the mistake of
not getting a part-time job in the meantime, resulting in me being in credit card debit.
My Advice to You is
If you must move to a cool exciting city without first getting a full-time job, spend that down time at a part-time job so you don't use your credit card.
Here's the whole story
A few months ago I moved to Chicago without a full-time job waiting for me. I'm now in credit card debit because i felt weird about taking a part-time job (retail or whatever) to hold me over. If i did, at least I would have been making a little bit of money for going out, museums, food, etc... oh well :) I have a job now so, happy ending.

Good advice. I'm planning on moving to Germany for a bit and will probably have to do the same thing. Only my situation is harder what with visas and all.
What exactly is credit card "debit"?

I'm just jealous you had the courage to move to a new city without a solid job in place. Takes a lot for someone to do that.
I think she meant credit card debt... I could be wrong though. By friends & family, I am regarded as the typo king. Little side story, I was spellings "oops" like "opps" for years!
yes yes, i'm full of typos. I too spell 'oops' like 'opps'...which is ironic.
