So, long story short...

While Travis J. Todd was roadtripping through europe

Travis J. Todd made the mistake of

not buying rental car insurance

My Advice to You is

sometimes a little extra money up front brings a lot of peace of mind

Here's the whole story

European city streets are tiny. They are not meant for cars. Our rental car got a ding in the door and had us worried the entire trip. Luckily Hertz didn't notice when we returned it.

Dude its like $5 bucks. Plus the funnest part about renting a car is that you know you can dog it.

Actually, they've caught on in Europe and it's like 20 Euros a day. Probably for the above reasons I listed.

Pfft. My friend bought "rental insurance" when we were in Canada... We had 2 dings on the car and the deductible, we found out later, was $1200. They claimed our damages totaled $600 and we had to fork over the money. Hooray for Canadia.

Do you remember the Ford Focus you rented that I did reverse donuts in behind fresh market?

Also I believe we went off-roading as well?

Sure that was a Focus? I believe it was the illustrious Contour.

But, yeah, the donuts in the gravel lot also left some suspicious scratches and dents. Good thing we HAD rental insurance that time.
