Lui Carvalho’s Story
Categories
So, long story short...
Lui Carvalho made the mistake of
thinking I would rack up valuable miles by flying from Brazil to Europe VIA USA.
My Advice to You is
the less you stay inside a plane the BETTER
Here's the whole story
I LOOOOVE miles... when you have a good miles card your life is so much better: updgrades, VIP rooms, VIP lines for check in, VIP lines for airport security, VIP written all over. Yes, I was born to be a VIP! So when I booked a ticket from Brazil to Europe I thought about flying VIA Washington since the price was about the same. Great idea!!! Spending too much time in a plane makes you more prone to be sick. And YES, that's what happened to me. After a 10-hour Sao Paulo-Washington flight I took a 9-hour Washington-Copenhagem trip, which gave me a hepatitis A, 4 days in the hospital and 30 days with no physical exercise. I'm not sure if 6k miles is worth all these...

I think the miles were worth it. I'd take 6k miles for Hepatitis A, definitely not for B, C, D or E thought; that's just silly.
Next time take some Airborne with you! I failed to do that and now I'm nursing a cold that I caught from my flights between Jax and LA. Uugh.
Jason is right. In fact the lesson i learned here is "a good way to get 6k flyer miles"
Does Airborne fight off Hepatitis?
I don't think airborn really fights off hepatitis.
Airborne works for colds... not sure if it would helped me here. But thanks for the advice!
