So, long story short...
While Dennis Eusebio was buying my first lcd hd tv
Dennis Eusebio made the mistake of
not getting the right connection for my laptop to the tv
My Advice to You is
dvi to hdmi is the name of the game apparently
Here's the whole story
So if you plan on doing an uber geeky setup for your home entertainment system plan to get a dvi to hdmi if you want to hook up your mac laptop to the tv. S-Video looks like crap on an hd set because the resolution gets killed.
