So, long story short...

While Edgar Vergara was taking a laptop apart

Edgar Vergara made the mistake of

not keeping track of the screws

My Advice to You is

keep the screws separate and label them

Here's the whole story

My brother was having problems with his laptop and I offered to try and fix it. About 25 screws later, I got the thing apart and fixed the problem. After my first attempt to put the laptop back together, I ended up with 4 "extra" screws. Hmmm.. I thought. This can't be good.

About an hour later, I got all the screws back into the laptop in what I believed to be the correct places. In order to save time and make sure everything goes back into where it belongs, I would suggest separating and labeling the screws of a laptop when taking it apart instead of mixing them all up in one container.

Yep. My brother always used to keep zip lock bags and a sharpie to prevent that kind of thing. I'm not that organized though.

That's even more worrisome with cars...I always seemed to have extra bolts and screws left over after a garage repair.
