So, long story short...

Dennis Eusebio made the mistake of

shooting pictures at wide open aperture

My Advice to You is

for the most part, most digital slr lenses will not have the sharpest pics at the widest apertures

Here's the whole story

I got a f/4 70-200mm and I'm shooting Jason's new Cayenne and I'm noticing the raw pics are really soft at the edges. I kept reading up and looking at lens tests and realized that you usually have to back off the lowest aperature to get the ideal sharpness from your pics.

Key is to find that sweet spot on all your lenses before you do a photoshoot.
