before cancel something find out what is going to happen
Here's the whole story
Since I wanted to switch to dreamhost company because my wonderful super cool textpattern blog didn't work I decided to stop my current hosting service this morning. (voxifera.com.. soon back online my all my sexy pictures!! just kidding)
well... not so bad because before cancel my yahoo hosting server I backed up my site on my local folder, but I didn't expect the yahoo was going to stop my service after 2 minuted after my cancel!
I mean, the due date for payment was next week, and my service was payed until next week. Wrong. They cancel everything now, and they stop my access to the control panel. I didn't see any warning in the cancellation page, even though the the Faq the process was explained.
The other day I cancel CNN online pipeline service and they let me watch the videos until the day before my billing day. I thought yahoo was working the same.
The only bad part is my personal email is down and I didn't tell to anyone about this.
