So, long story short...

Mirko Bell made the mistake of

underestimate the time/work using a flash template because at the first look everything seems easy

My Advice to You is

try to discourage the client emphasising the bad things about having a flash site.

Here's the whole story

They always made me crazy those flash templates that clients buy to save money. (Fortunately I had this situation just a few times)

First, I've always have problem with fonts. Last one they seems just truetype for pc. I spent an hour just to try fix that.

Sometimes they use too much advance features for dynamic content which is good (retrieving text from a file), but if you want to change too much is not so good. They don't program button as button, nooo they use moviclips into movieclip with tons of actionscript.

Another time, the worst, the template was just one .fla file. All pictures were embed and no external files were included, no photoshop file. Nothing.

I haaaaate those services, they just create crap work and it takes longer to fix it then to actually create it from scratch.
