So, long story short...

Andy Thai made the mistake of

Trying to do too many things myself, and too many features

My Advice to You is

Keep it simple, release early, release often, get help where needed!

Here's the whole story

So... mistake #1 with making a large website is doing everything yourself. Too much work for one person. Not too mention I am not a good designer.

I like to do the backend stuff more...like model and controller logic, business logic, database, etc.

So next time...I hope to team up with a another web developer/designer!

However, I sure did learn a lot with Ruby on Rails as the web development framework I used.

Oh yes...and the shameless plug as requested:

I like the site, really impressive that you did it all yourself.
