So, long story short...
SicTransit made the mistake of

without mistakes, you wouldn't learn or become stronger. hell you wouldn't even be where you are now without past mistakes. it's called the past for a reason, but that reason doesn't matter, because it's the past!
YOU'VE JUST BEEN PARADOX-ED!
of course, then there's always the, "what if that mistake changed your life forever..."
all mistakes change your life, for better or for worse. all in perspective. of course, I'm a Hindu, so if this mistake were related to jail or death, well, I'd just say "maybe in your next life then..."
but no matter what, you can never really re-do a situation, because it's already happened. time travel isn't a normal occurrence for a reason. if you went back in time, you'd just screw everything up.

sure this little story is stating the obvious, and might not make you any happier, cause I know I'm definitely not at my happiest, but still it's a good thing to keep in mind when you think, "I wish I didn't do that."
p.s. this is by no means a justification of mistakes to be made in the future. so don't go murdering someone saying "I LEARNED FROM IT!"
now that's just silly.

Good outlook. Part of the reasoning we created this site in the first place. Partly to help other people and partly for people to get over their own mistakes and become better people.
