So, long story short...

While anonymous was busy with everyday life.

anonymous made the mistake of

not returning a phone call.

My Advice to You is

to make time for good people in your life.

Here's the whole story

The holiday season was approaching and I was embroiled in all the typical events and chores that seems to make life so hectic at that time of year. I got a voice mail one day from a colleague connected to my previous job in another state...in another life.

He was in his sixties and I was approaching thirty. He was friendly and wise with all his life experience. But he would occasionally call to ask me questions about his computer and I was happy to chat with him, to help and advise as best I could without being there.

But this time, I just didn't get around to calling him back. December turned into the new year then one day I got an email from one of my former co-workers that this wonderful man had passed away.

My failure to simply call him back is the greatest regret in my life to this point.

I'm sure he appreciated the company you provided him as a whole. Its always sad to see a friend pass away and not have a proper goodbye.
