You only get so many relationships in life. Its not worth staying in one where you're not happy.
It is difficult to leave someone because regardless of how they're treating you, you've still invested effort into the relationship, and there's a little hope you can make it work. It's especially tough to leave if the person has convinced you that the current relationship is the best it's gonna get. Hey, that's why this site is great: you get to learn about people's growth after mistakes made.
