So, long story short...

anonymous made the mistake of

rushing into another one.

My Advice to You is

take it slow. Entering into a new relationship is ok, just pace yourself and if this person is a good friend, make sure they are not a rebound.

Here's the whole story

I was in a long term relationship for over two years that came to a crashing halt. I had a bunch of good friends that were there for me and after a while, I ended up falling for one of them (ironically, this person also just got out of long term relationship). Its been a couple of months now and things are going good but we both had to take a step back and agree to take things slow. I guess this isn't really a mistake, but you get the point.

It may sound horrible, but wanting company after getting out of a relationship is a natural thing. I feel that there is nothing wrong with it as long as you are up front about the situation so that the other person knows what they are getting involved in.
