Nicki Hines’ Story

So, long story short...

While Nicki Hines was with my boyfriend

Nicki Hines made the mistake of

listening to my voicemail on speakerphone

My Advice to You is

don't do that

Here's the whole story

i've never lied to my boyfriend, but sometimes there are things he doesn't need to hear, for example things such as:

hey nicki it's daniel, just seeing if you guys were going downtown tonight...i'm bringing my friend sarah so that should alleviate any jealousy issues steve might have, gimme a call back.

earlier that day it was discussed with daniel that i hoped steve didn't get jealous that i called him to go out with us, because i'd probably get jealous if he called some girl i didn't know well to go out with us, even if she waaas just a friend. so the auditing of the message left me babbling to answer his questions of "so what did that mean?"

so don't listen to messages on speakerphone.

Maybe the iPhone will have a built-in function to block those types of things. It has everything else.

well what i wouldnt do is not contribute to somebody thinking that they had some kind of possesion or ownership or control of me

that seems more to the heart of the problem in my humble viewpoint

not the overheard message part so much

That's actually pretty funny.

But really, maybe neither of you should be so petty as to get jealous of opposite-sex friends.
