So, long story short...

While Jeff Rose was Going on a date

Jeff Rose made the mistake of

not bringing enough money

My Advice to You is

carry a credit card, or ask your friend away from your date...

Here's the whole story

My senior year in high school, I got a date with a girl that I really liked. At that time, I didn't have a credit card, mainly because I was 17. So, on our date, we went to the movies (I got a student discount, she didn't and that's important) and went to dinner. Well, once I found out what she ordered, I knew that paying for the bill was going to be tight. When I got the bill, I found out that I was about $2.50 short (the difference between a regular-priced movie ticket and a student ticket). Luckily, I had my friend Joe with me, and he was able to cover me. Needless to say, I was quite embarassed, and lucky for me, it became a funny joke between the girl and I to this day.

Was it never an option that she throw in $2.50? Cuz in the post-Leave-It-to-Beaver world of the 21st century, that's how we roll.
