Here's the whole story
I cannot stress this enough, don't pick up the phone whilest having intimate relations. I received a phone call from a friend I hadn't talked to in a very long time (at least a year or 2) and when the phone rang it was close enough that I could see who was calling.
I think my first mistake was having the phone within eyeball distance, but the more important mistake was actually stopping relations to answer the call. I know a lot of you are thinking that I am a complete moron, but look at it from my perspective: It was late at night, hadn't heard from this guy in a while, he was a very good friend and I was worried it was really important.
Turns out, he actually was just drunk dialing me and I didn't get to resume relations, no matter how much I begged.
So, put the phone on silent, put it face down and look at it afterwards.

I know of people who actually make a call specifically while having relations.
I have no idea what Dennis is implying. In fact neither does Ryan.
hmmm i thought this was me the other night
I'm afraid I can't even begin to fathom how the phone could have been important at a time like that, regardless of who was calling! Still, It's odd how some things can take greater priority when they really should not.
Begged haha. On the flipside, my gf at the time 'had to answer the phone' once and I just kept making it really hard for her to concentrate by doing certain things to her and she ended up cutting it short, throwing the phone across the room and resuming in a violent fashion.
there was that story of a veterinarian getting a frantic call in the middle of the night about somebody's dog having intercourse and the owner cannot get the pair to separate. the veterinarian's advice: "put down the phone, get it near your dogs and i will call them back".
