So, long story short...

While SunnySumm was trying to help a friend get a date

SunnySumm made the mistake of

doing ALL the legwork

My Advice to You is

do not try to set up a friend who isn't willing to put a little effort into it.

Here's the whole story

So my best friend wants to have someone to hang out with and I REALLY want her to have someone to hang out with too. At any rate, her friend who is married went to a b-day celebration @ Biscotti's with her friends and had this wonderful waiter who is totally my best friend's type and is single. The waiter works Sat & Sun nights so we decided to go by there Sun night for dinner just to scope him out.

We did not get him as our waiter but we picked him out by their description of him, so I suggested she go talk to him. She refused. What is the point of us being there if you aren't going to talk to the man!?!? So my 2nd suggestion was to leave her # on the reciept...She refused this as well. She told me to leave mine...I have no problem with this. No guts no glory. So I left the msg for the guy. Who knows if he will call or not, but in the grand scheme of things, what is the harm?

My point, do not waste time setting someone up, when they aren't willing help themselves out.
