Jason Hightower’s Story

So, long story short...
Jason Hightower made the mistake of
not caring about the situation for more than a minute.
My Advice to You is
Iono you tell me
Here's the whole story
The way that people felt about the shootings did not sit well with me. I felt as if I shouldn't get worked up about the situation because people die in a massive amount of numbers every day. Just because this all happened in a concentrated form with those on the brink of becoming great citzens,(or horrible ones), I should care more than I care about that person that dies every three seconds? I didnt voice my opinion but I would eventually have to tell someone, because it was the topic that was in the air at the time. I was made to be a heartless person because I wouldnt slow down to take refrence and pay respect and homage to people who...
A.)I didnt know
B.)Had not done anything on a nationally recognized scale
C.)I might have never even heard of
Am I wrong to think this way, or is it realistic to pay a heavy emotional respect to all who dies?
*I love life and I am very social by the way lol

All good points. I think everyone has to at least feel somewhat bad for all that happened. But all in all, its like you said...people die constantly. It'd be an incredible emotional burden to care DEEPLY for every tragedy that happened.
Interesting discussion.
I think I understand where you are coming from. Respect and sympathy definitely needs be paid to the deceased and their families, but I also think a lot of people act like they care more than they really do. You may not be the most compassionate person in the world, but I don't think you are a heartless jerk.
Well I feel it's all true, people some times act if they care but it is just a way of beeing noticed. We are not going to stop living because others die....it may seem a bit heartless but it's all fact...
