So, long story short...
While matt was 7 or 8 years old
matt made the mistake of
feeding a dog raw rice grains
My Advice to You is
don't feed a dog raw rice, it's just a bad idea.
Here's the whole story
Parents were dog sitting. I was but a wee child in the laundry room with some sort of poodles. I fed them some rice, and the rest was a matter of new carpet history.

isn't it true if you feed rice to pigeons they explode?
just kidding, but it was funny in the movie "How High"
Well it was in a movie...it must be true!
...and chocolate and chicken, too. There are unhealthy for them. Just make sure.
Not only chocolate, but grapes and raisins can be lethal as well.
