So, long story short...

While Dennis Eusebio was buying my first car.

Dennis Eusebio made the mistake of

buying a car way over budget.

My Advice to You is

a car should never be a compulsive buy.

Here's the whole story

I love my car. I've loved s2000's since I was a teenager so when I was at my first full-time job and had enough money, it seemed like a dream come true to finally buy one.

So I get one and things are great for the first few months but then I quit my job and go to start a company. Now, this wouldn't be that big of a deal if it were a normal priced car. But since it took a full-time salary to pay for the car payment, it was a horrible idea.

Nothing will hold you down and narrow your ability to take chances when you're young like a gigantic car payment. And since I rushed buying it without putting much down, it'll be a long time till what I owe is less than what its worth. So no way to sell it back without taking another massive hit.

Oh NOW you tell me you sonofabitch. Where were you in November of '05 with this insightfulness? In fact I blame you specifically for my loan payments but that's a whole 'nother story that I will expound on at a later time.
