Dennis Eusebio’s Story

So, long story short...
While Dennis Eusebio was getting my car appraised at carmax
Dennis Eusebio made the mistake of
thinking a dealership would ever give me a good deal on a trade-in
My Advice to You is
fix it up and sell privately
Here's the whole story
Lets just say the average dealer is going to screw you over by at least 2k depending on the value of your car. Good thing I did not take the deal. Now to fix a couple things and hock this debt machine.

Man...do I ever know that. I always get lazy and just trade it in, and then feel stupid after the fact. I'm quite literally embarrassed to admit what they gave me when I traded in my Land Rover Discovery. I mean, sure, it had a couple of things that needed work...but wow, compared to what I paid for it!?
Bottom line?
Cars kind of suck. I wish I could bike everywhere.
I'd buy a crotch rocket if there wasn't a high chance of me dying.
Just get a moped! Actually, I would if I lived in Spain...or any where in Europe. Just doesn't seem as 'cool' here I guess, ha.
You just need to find some rich high school sucker that will get their parents buy it from you as their first car.
How about we just exacerbate the problem by turboing the thing and reinventing a money pit more suited to a CEO?
When trading a car I normally leave the car I am trading in at home and either drive a different car or ride with a friend. Then do your car shopping and once you have found the car you want, talk numbers and if you do this right and everything goes your way you have just sold a car to a dealer to which they haven't even seen. I have done this twice and both times have worked out in my favor.
