Katie’s Story

So, long story short...
While Katie was being lazy.
Katie made the mistake of
not reading my bank statements.
My Advice to You is
watch your checking account carefully.
Here's the whole story
I signed up for a porn subscription that linked to my checking account. That was probably my first mistake. I was then under the impression that I had only signed up for one month. So after the one month was over I stopped visiting the website.
At the same time, I had stopped reading my checking account statements. After I had two checks bounce in one month, I finally read my previous bank statements. In four months I had been charged $120 total for porn I never even watched.

I think the worse part is, if you wanted to get your bank to take off the charges.
"Oh, so what are looking at today sir...oooh, uhm alright, we'll take care of those charges immediately."
Lol, awkward conversation to say the least.
I had a similar situation happen when I stopped using a credit card but missed a gap in interest payment. The $18 I missed sat on the card for 2 months incurring late fees and became an issue on my credit. Luckily the credit card company took care of it for me and they understood it was an honest mistake.
i appreciate that you admit it was for porn. i got one of those in store credit deals where i would save 10% if i signed up today and then i sent a check for the exact amount immediately. turns out there was a $7.25 account establishment fee. then i moved. three months later my old landlord fowards my mail. three $30 service charges for a late payment of $7.25. plus, this was the first credit i had ever established. now my credit is screwwwed.
You're the second girl I've ever heard of admitting to intentionally seeking out porn. That. Is. Awesome.
there are a lot of "free alternatives"...but what would i know about that.
