Lisa’s Story

So, long story short...
While Lisa was young, prior to working at pharmacies
Lisa made the mistake of
thinking I signed the box to pick up my prescription
My Advice to You is
ask the pharmacist questions, it's their job to counsel
Here's the whole story
Pharm tech: "Sign here." Customer: "Why?" Pharm tech: "To show you picked up your meds."
FALSE. You are waiving your right to be counseled by the pharmacist. You may not think you have questions, but if it's a new medication, you should ask to be counselled anyway. People have died because they misinterpret how to take it, when to take it, or didn't know of drug interactions or allergies. It's our job, so don't be afraid to talk to us. It's a pharmacy, not a fast food joint. Plus it's embarrassing if you swallow vaginal tablets, or stick suppositories in the wrong hole.

Nice visual at the end of the story.
Do vaginal tablets and suppositories have their own pictured labels? You know, like the picture of food for the "take with food drugs."
