So, long story short...

While Beth Blankenship was decorating our new condo

Beth Blankenship made the mistake of

painting my room myself

My Advice to You is

hire a professional painter

Here's the whole story

My boyfriend just bought a new condo and we decided to paint two accent walls in our room (red). We thought it'd be easy what with tape and drop cloths, etc. However, several arguments, visible roller lines, and paint drops on carpet and trim later, it became apparent that our painting skills are more on par with Pollock rather than with Martha Stewart. Lesson learned: the living room is most definitely the charge of a pro.

I was just about to start on the windswept unicorn gazing about majestically on a cliff when Chris came over and vetoed it. What a wet blanket!

I can't even imagine Chris trying to paint a room.

You guys should go to a Home Depot class or something.

Edgar would just draw Phoenix all over the room with sweet flames if he had his way

it is really hard... a lot harder than those tv shows let on. especially darker colors like red, it helps if you put primer on before the real color. glides on more like butter.

We used tinted primer and everything. I wrote this before the second coat, and it looks much better now.
