So, long story short...

While Edgar Vergara was getting some Mcdonald's to go

Edgar Vergara made the mistake of

creating old stale french fries

My Advice to You is

leave the bag open

Here's the whole story

So this applies to all french fries, not just the Golden Arch variety. When most people get their greasy burger and fries to go, they make sure to close up the top of the bag to keep the food warm. Through experience and experimentation, I've come to learn that closing the top of the bag makes french fries soggy and stale. The trapped steam ruins my favorite part of the meal by making them soggy or stale. Nothing beats nice crispy fries.

I was just remembering back in the day when I used to eat Chick-fil-a two to three times a week. If I went through the drive thru the waffle fries were pretty much eaten by the time I got home, so they never had a chance to go bad... This works well with some groceries, I remember eating Cheese-Nips Air Crisps on the ride home (finishing the box of course in 15 minutes).
