Here's the whole story
Went to the allergist and they said they were going to run several tests for me to rule out what's causing my chronic hives. I've had these hives for over a year and I know it's not environmental and probably immune related. But it would be nice to find out if there was some cause. They said they'd run 10 tubes of blood at Labcorp and I asked, "How much will it cost?" and the busy receptionist said "We'll bill your insurance company, don't worry." Yeah, all the labwork came up negative as I suspected and the insurance only picked up $700... so I owe $400... Who knew drawing blood costs that much? The blood bank is free. :)
Bah.. I hate bills that sneak up on you. Money sucks.
