So, long story short...

While anonymous was an ex-smoker

anonymous made the mistake of

having a cigarette

My Advice to You is

if you're not addicted to cigarettes, don't smoke any!

Here's the whole story

I got pregnant and had a baby who is now one and I quit smoking through my pregnancy and breastfeeding, and vowed never to light up again. After all, I'm not addicted anymore, so why?

Well...I got drunk and lit up. Ugh. It was a f'in slippery slope, because now I am smoking cigarettes here and there again, and there's no good reason for it!

The year after I quit smoking, I would occasionally justify another cigarette if I was drinking, if other people were smoking, etc., (because it was just ONE cigarette). That mindset just doesn't work, especially with an addictive substance. A firm vow to yourself to never pick another one up is key to really quitting. Because it's just not worth it.

To me, what is the point of the cigarette? Smoke some pot, at least it won't kill you.

ps - I don't smoke pot
