So, long story short...

While Joanna was tired and stressed out

Joanna made the mistake of

cracking my neck to relieve the pressure

My Advice to You is

don't... or go a chiropractor if you need relief

Here's the whole story

Mmm, stress!! I love it. All that tension that builds up in my neck and shoulders... it's fantastic. Wait, what?

So I used to occasionally crack my neck when I'd get super tense and it'd feel amazing afterwards. Then I started seeing a chiropractor 3 times a week for a month or so and got addicted to the popping sound and immediate relief. I figured it wouldn't hurt to keep cracking my neck on my own whenever I needed it. Ernt... wrong. Now the tension builds up faster and I have to crack it more often. Being the Google freak I am, I researched the cons of what I've been doing and found that tons of people are literally "addicted" to popping their neck and it's led to chronic headaches and back pain. Yeahhh... that sounds like a good reason to quit.

The noise from cracking your knuckles is actually the fluid in the joints. This does not lead to arthritis or chronic paint, however it could lead to soreness when you are 145 years old.

Sometimes I crack my neck, but then get scared I might crack it to far and kill myself - something like what Chuck Norris could do to me with his pinky.
