So, long story short...
knitakitty made the mistake of
Looking online to figure out my health problem
My Advice to You is
Just go see the MD if you know something is not right
Here's the whole story
For two weeks I have had painful and achy lower abdominal pains, as well as other more unpleasant symptoms. I decided that seeing as how I was suffering for two weeks I ought to make an appointment with my doctor. I waited for such a long time, because I thought iut might go away after a certain amount of time, but it didn't.
So I thought that perhaps while I was waiting to see my doctor (I got an appointment for the following day), I would input my symptoms into the "symptom checker" on WebMD. So many different posiblities came up, that I got very nervous. And I really was not looking forward to my appointment.
I went this morning, and after poking and proding, and listening to all my symptoms, the doctor told me to go to get a whole range of tests that range from the typical (blood sample) to the embarrasing (I can't even say it right now). But, I wish I hadn't tried to research all my problems on my own, because now I am sitting here, not only feeling miserable from my abdominal cramps, but also from concern that I might have something completely ridiculous.
So I suggest not only going to your doctor ASAP when you are not felling "right", but to also avoid the great and all-mighty internet when it comes to your health. Don't try to diagnose yourself, because you'll just end up all twisted. Which doesn't help when your intestines already feel twisted....
Hopefully, I'll get my results back in a week.
