So, long story short...

While michelle delprete was feeling very sick

michelle delprete made the mistake of

going to a hospital that was out of my insurance network

My Advice to You is

make sure you know what hospitals around you are part of your insurance network!

Here's the whole story

Ok, I know this is kinda lame, but I think we're all of the age where we are responsible for our own health insurance. Anyways, I had to go to the ER a little while back (no worries, I'm fine) and because I was in some pain, I didn't really think and just went to the nearest hospital. If you go to a hospital out of your insurance network, you have to pay a significant amount more out-of-pocket. Look up what near-by hospitals you should go to before you get sick! :)

For everyone in Jacksonville, go to Solantic, not Beaches Medical. It's 1/3 the price ($35 vs $100) and it's a little secret tucked away at the beach.

baptist hospital in jacksonville wanted from me 9000$ because I had a shitty insurance from school (unf) which didn't cover too much as out-patience. I had a appendicite surgery but I stay at the hospital only 20 hours, so they considered me an out-patient. Since I was student I apply for charity and they waive the fee. Whoo Hooo
