Lisa’s Story

So, long story short...
Lisa made the mistake of
being rushed to sign up for a "free" cell phone through a mall kiosk.
My Advice to You is
do not sign up for phone contracts in mall kiosks.
Here's the whole story
With the chaos of Black Friday, I decided to check out deals after I had done all my Christmas shopping. I got hassled by a lady in a Tmobile Kiosk at the Florida Mall into signing up for a free razor. Eventhough I already had Tmobile, she signed me up for 2 NEW lines and told me to sleep on it, risk free. Of course, stupid me had been rushed to sign papers, overlooking fine print that said there was a $150 restocking fee, so I could not "sleep on it." So I had to pay for 2 new lines, a month of overlap between the phone services, and the phone (which was lost at the airport so I lost the rebate). Tmobile's customer care did not CARE... so beware of these kiosks. Tmobile told me that they aren't Tmobile affiliated dealers, and they can't do anything about it. Tmobile sucks. Kiosks suck. I got screwed.

I remember working at Verizon when they first started the 2-year contract deals. Those were the shadiest of times!
Cell phone kiosks remind me of the game booths at fairs. They both have people pulling you from a crowd claiming how cheap/easy it is, but you always end up losing.
gish! stupid people. it would be esayer to just eran the money and buy a normal cell you will feel good inside i suppose...i saw a tvs hwo on something like that. i wanted it but its a bad deal i could tell
