So, long story short...

While Dennis Eusebio was driving with expensive insurance

Dennis Eusebio made the mistake of

not shopping around for other policies

My Advice to You is

periodically talk to other insurance companies and get quotes

Here's the whole story

I just saved $100 bucks on my insurance every month. And it doesn't involve a caveman.

I finally started shopping around for new insurance after my rate shot up about $20 to $190/month. It was getting to be a burden on my paychecks and I knew that someone out there could do better. So I called up Allstate and got a great quote of $150/month.

Knowing that Progressive would make a counter-offer, I spoke with an agent about this new quote and said "what can you guys do for me?" Sure enough, I get transferred to a specialist who gives me a new policy at $100/month with all the same plan details.

It makes me wonder why they didn't do it in the first place but I'm glad that I got a reduced rate. So thank you to specialist dude who got me a lower rate.

Told you so! I couldn't believe it when you said your insurance went UP at 25.

You know. There's been times when I stop paying my car insurance and let it expire. Every time I've renewed with AAA, its get cheaper.
