So, long story short...

While anonymous was buying a new car

anonymous made the mistake of

signing any paperwork at all

My Advice to You is

regardless of what the papers are, don't sign

Here's the whole story

i recently ran into a situation where i wanted to buy a car, but wasn't sure about the dealer. i took the car home for the night and signed a "contingency contract" thinking i had an option to remit if i wanted. when i came back and had found a better deal eslewhere i was told i would be taken to court and there was no right to remission when any contract of any form is signed.

don't sign a thing, if they dont want to let you have the car for a night or an extended test drive go somewhere else.. may sound like common sense, but sometimes the excitement of a new car gets you in trouble.

Man, this sounds kind of shady. If you really think you got shafted, you could write a compaint to the Better Business Burea.
