write original content
Here's the whole story
I've been writing for our blog on Thought & Theory for about 1 year now and after some prodding I've made a conscious push to write more original content. I used to link to all the cool design things I see online but it never pulled in any long lasting readers.
After writing just one article that touched a nerve among the design community, our subscribers jumped up significantly and we have actual dialogue going on in the comment sections.
While link blogs have their place, give people a reason to choose your blog.
