So, long story short...

While a typical guy was renting a movie

a typical guy made the mistake of

watching "Requiem for a Dream"

My Advice to You is

dont watch this movie unless you want to feel like shit

Here's the whole story

For the lucky ones who haven’t seen this movie, the story follows a few characters and you witness how their drug addictions take control of their lives. Needless to say they don’t have a happy ending. Something bad happens to Jared Leto, like in every movie he plays in, and you get to see some pretty uncomfortable scenes with Jennifer Connelly. Marlon Wayans is in it as well, unfortunately not as a comic relief. And if you can make it towards the end of this movie, because you like watching train wrecks, then you get to see a double-ended-dildo scene. A typical guy would be stoked about this, but trust me, it was pretty uncomfortable. So unless you are thinking about doing some drugs or you feel like shit and think that no one has it as bad as you, I wouldn’t watch this movie. Trust me when I say, you could go the rest of your life not watching this movie.

This spawns the idea of having a "This happened to me too" feature of this site. I was forced to watch this movie while attended a friend's 24-hour movie marathon. It was awful.

If you want another horrid movie, see "Dead Ringers".

It is depressing, but if you ever had the slightest inclination to do heroin, or any other addictive drug for that matter, this movie certainly snuffs it out. "Kids" is pretty good for that also.

Oh yea, "Trainspotting". Babies don't need to be on ceilings.
